We’re a Nepal-based trek company that’s been operating for 4 years with a truly local team. Our lead guide has 10 years of trekking experience in Nepal, our most senior guide has 25 years, and our CEO and founder brings 20 years and still leads treks when possible. We know routes, seasons, permits, accommodations, and communities firsthand, and work closely with local guides, teahouses, porters, and villages. We are fully registered as Hillary Step Treks Pvt Ltd (Reg. No. 307137/079/080) and are members of TAAN, NMA, and the Nepal Tourism Board.

Lifetime Deposit Guarantee

Your deposit with us never expires and stays valid for any future Hillary Step Treks trip. You can move it to another date or another trip package, subject to availability (but it cannot be transferred to another traveler). The guarantee applies in all seasons; only non-refundable third-party costs like flights, special permits, or prepaid services follow their own rules. Our standard advance payment is 20% of the trip cost, with no admin fee for changes. To use your deposit, just contact us by email, phone, or WhatsApp with your original booking details.

Every trip starts with a consultation with an experienced local planner who listens to your fitness, interests, time, and budget. We then adjust the itinerary, suggest alternative routes when needed, and plan proper acclimatization and weather buffers. You can also choose private departures or join small groups. To date, we’ve arranged customized versions of popular treks like Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Base Camp, and Manaslu Circuit, tailoring each one to the traveler’s pace and goals.

Flexible Itineraries at Fair Prices

We keep pricing clear, with no hidden charges and a transparent quotation before you book. If you want to add a rest day, skip a section, or extend the trek, we can modify the itinerary to fit your needs. Also, we offer trek options at different budgets: you can choose standard teahouse rooms for a budget-friendly trip or upgrade to premium accommodation and extra services. Private departures are also available for travelers who want more flexibility and personalized support throughout the journey.

Your Travel Investment Is Safe and Valued

We manage all client funds through our official company bank account. We accept secure payments via bank transfer and trusted online gateways. We also share our cancellation and refund policy with you before booking. Refund amounts depend on the cancellation date and any non-refundable costs already paid (permits, flights, hotels, etc.). We process any eligible refund according to our agreed terms and conditions.

Responsible & Eco-Friendly Trekking

We trek with respect for the mountains and local communities. Our guides encourage you to minimize waste, carry out what you bring in, and avoid single-use plastics by using reusable water bottles and refill stations. We promote careful use of water, fuel, and energy in lodges and on the trail. We also hire local guides and porters, pay fair wages, provide proper equipment, and support good working conditions. Our guides also share cultural guidelines on dress, behavior, and photography, and remind guests to stay on marked trails, respect wildlife, and follow park rules.
