As per our previous travel plan to Nepal, we decided to go for the Gokyo Lakes trek and one of our friends recommended Hillary Step Treks as the best option. Hari, the founder, was very friendly, provided extremely helpful information and was extremely responsive over email, which gave us the confidence to go ahead and book the trek with Hillary Step Treks. At the end we were very glad to do this trip with HST and a team of highly experienced crew. Our guide Ramesh and Porter Bikash did an excellent job to make this trip a lifetime memorable adventure journey for us. Thanks to all who were involved.

My wife and I spent almost a month with Hari last year doing the Manaslu and Tsum Valley Trek. We had the most incredible trip and in Hari we couldn't have imagined having a better guide. Patient, attentive but not overbearing, able to adapt our itinerary to suit our level of fitness to maximise our enjoyment of the trek. He always knew the best place to stay and who had the best food. We have travelled all over the world and this has been my favorite trip to date.

Hari was an exceptional guide from the time I arrived at the airport to when he dropped me off. The itinerary was impeccably organized, he was flexible to meet my preferences, and knew the routes and surroundings very well. Hari is very well-liked by the other guides which is helpful in the hostels, and is also good with people. I recommend him highly enough.
