I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Hillary Step Treks. They organized a trek to Pikey Peak for me on short notice, and everything—from logistics to lodging to guiding—was handled flawlessly. The team was responsive, attentive, and genuinely committed to making the trip special. Hari, the manager, was responsive at all hours of day, took into account all my requests and even went out of his way to pick me up at the airport. My guide, Ramesh was knowledgeable, warm, and made the journey both safe and unforgettable. Both he and Bisal, the porter, took wonderful care of me, including figuring out how to retrieve my phone when I left it behind in a lodge.

What a trip! Could not be happier with the trip, trek, weather and more importantly, our guide, HARI!!! Harka was amazing along the way at setting up our trip with us from across the world, and meeting us in person to go over what to expect. Everything was taken care of completely for us. We did the Poon Hill Trek, which was incredible, and all of the food, stops and lodging along the way exceeded expectations. It is easy to find reviews on the trek, but one thing you are never sure of is how your guide is going to be, and we ended the trek feeling as though we had traveled with a trusted professional, but more importantly gained a friend and brother in Hari. Hari was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, helpful and put up with all of our shenanigans from a group of American guys. We looked forward to spending time with him at the end of each day, and making memories and laughter over a meal and few beers at the end of the day. We had an amazing experience on our 9-day Annapurna Base Camp trek via Poon Hill. Special shoutout to Hari, who helped organize the entire trip seamlessly, from permits to guesthouse stays along the way. Everything was smooth and well-planned. Prior to the trek, Hari was also very responsive and patient in answering all our questions and doubts, which made us feel well-prepared.
Our trip was accompanied by a young guide, Milan, and a porter, Plekta. Milan was friendly and enthusiastic, though still learning and gaining experience in guiding.
A huge thank you to our incredible porter, Plekta — strong, reliable, and so much more than a porter. Despite speaking very limited English, he guided and supported us every step of the way with genuine care and a constant smile. I felt safe, encouraged, and truly looked after throughout the journey.

I did a 3-week trek with Hari and his team around Manaslu and the Tsum Valley Circuit.
The trek itself, the scenery, mountains, valleys, rivers, people,..were simply Epic.
Hari and our porters (Siri his nephew and Chitra his uncle) were wonderful and I a great time talking and joking with them.
As for the dificulty of the trek, i would consider most days of moderate difficulty with a few hard ones now and then like pass-day.
In Tsum Valley we did several interesting homestays and stayed one night in a Tibetan monastery (Mu Gompa).
At 3700m, and placed on a ridge, it was very windy and chilly but very interesting to spend the night there nonetheless.
All in all I enjoyed the trek a lot and would like to come back for a spring season trek.
About Hari and his team I have nothing but praise.
They're very easy-going, well-organised and fun to be around with.
In other words, you'll be in very good hands!
