Beautiful and Magical Poon Hill Trek with Kind Guides

Our 3 day Poon Hill trek was an incredible experience from start to finish with Hillary Step Trekking. Even with a few days of rain, the scenery was absolutely stunning – misty forests, endless terraces of mountain farms, and glimpses of snow covered peaks that took our breath away. Watching the clouds dance over the Annapurna range and thru the valleys felt like pure magic. Our guide was outstanding, knowledgeable, attentive, and full of stories about the Gurung villages, the mountains and local traditions. He kept us safe and motivated, even during the steep climbs. Our porter was equally remarkable.- strong kind and always ready with a smile. Together they made the journey smooth, comfortable and full of joy. The cozy tea house’s along the way were a highlight.- warm fires,homecooked Dahl bhat, and friendly hosts who treated us like family. Sitting by the stove with a cup of ginger tea after a long hike felt like heaven. This track, perfectly balances, adventure, culture, and comfort.
