Trekking to Everest Base Camp (EBC)

For our EBC journey in 2018, Hari Bahadur Gurung is an extremely knowledgeable and skilled tour guide. He has all the knowledge necessary to lead you and gives you all the information you need to climb or trek the EBC (such as information on altitude sickness, medications, meals, emergency evacuation via helicopter, and other topics). We finished the EBC journey in 11 days with a group of 11 persons, including two children who were 9 and 11 years old.
He is also an approachable and reliable person. Will hire him and his staff as our tour guides for our upcoming trip to Nepal. Happy New Year!

What a trip! Could not be happier with the trip, trek, weather and more importantly, our guide, HARI!!! Harka was amazing along the way at setting up our trip with us from across the world, and meeting us in person to go over what to expect. Everything was taken care of completely for us. We did the Poon Hill Trek, which was incredible, and all of the food, stops and lodging along the way exceeded expectations. It is easy to find reviews on the trek, but one thing you are never sure of is how your guide is going to be, and we ended the trek feeling as though we had traveled with a trusted professional, but more importantly gained a friend and brother in Hari. Hari was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, helpful and put up with all of our shenanigans from a group of American guys. We looked forward to spending time with him at the end of each day, and making memories and laughter over a meal and few beers at the end of the day. We, My daughter (Cass), and I did Nar Phu Valley Trek with Hillary Step Treks, Hari, who organize this trek as well as he was our guide. He was a very good guide who can speak excellent English, explain the route, local culture, and Nepal, Providing us best services. And our Porter was Suzan & Saroz. They were very strong and helpful. The Trek to Narphu Valleyu is Supper beautiful. So, I highly recommend visiting Nar Phu Valley Trek with HST and these guys.
